Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of the Order of St. Stanislas!

The Board of the Grand Priory of the Order of St. Stanislaus in Germany wishes you a reflective holiday season and a successful New Year. The year 2022, which is now coming to an end, has demanded a great deal from all of us.

While the years 2020 and 2021 were marked by the Corona pandemic, this year it is the war in Ukraine, the associated wave of refugees and energy crisis as well as high inflation. The social challenges facing us in our Order have not diminished. But especially now in the Advent season, it is important to take up the Christmas message, namely, to be there for others, to give courage and spread confidence, as well as to spend unforgettable days and moments.

The war in Ukraine, the energy crisis and inflation are issues that move us all. This also makes it more and more difficult for associations to organize events. It is satisfying that our membership figures are slowly recovering after Corona. It is important that as an association we are open to receive new members! Only together can we seize this opportunity and further the vision of our organization.

Such a message also needs to comprise a look into the future. Next year we want to change many things, together. We will communicate the timetable and implementation in good time.

The aim is to complete the change at the start of the 2023/2024 season. One strategic goal is to achieve greater professionalization. To this end, we would like to increase and expand our activities in the areas of public relations and event management at the Priory. In the year that has now come to an end, we would like to thank you and pay you all due respect for your voluntary commitment and for your willingness to shape and to help.

The Board of the Grand Priory wishes you and your families peaceful and reflective holidays and enough time for all the people close to you. For the New Year we wish you happiness, well-being and contentment.

 Please start the next year cheerfully, confidently and with a lot of desire for new things - above all, stay healthy and recharge your batteries for 2023!
